Im ashamed to say you had up until "stop it"

@vortexman100 you are complaining about something that isnt a problem. If he is using a name that cannot identify him then he cant be identified. Simple as that and its not hard to do. Its your responsibility to be careful in how conduct yourself online not others. If he can be identified, dont be mad at whoever did it. You are getting angry for the sake of getting angry. I would personally never post anything online that I wouldn't want anyone (employers family ect) to see and if I did i would make sure as hell I could be identified. Not just my display name but the information in my content as well.
-
@vortexman100 calm down paul.

Know when to walk away and come back to a problem later. A fresh mind will usually identify the issue right away. Also rubber duck debugging actually works. You can try it with a real person if you think its silly. Just explain everything youre doing and why and you can usually get unstuck

Hey as some one who uses salesforce could you give me your opinion on using salesforce for an ecommerce website. Our company out sourced our ecommerce project and the company insisted they use salesforce. Im a web developer and I think a simple ecommerce website and backend would have been a better option here. What do you think?

Typescript makes javascript less shit. Id rather Typescript than javascript.
-
Pretty sure its so the road isnt so steep.
-
@kpenc yep I agree. People who love javascript havent tried anything else. People also tend to "love" the first language they learn.
-
Good luck with TDD

I work with people who use mac and we share and uses scripts that can only run on mac/linux.

Good code comments itself. Also comments lie

Get a grip. Build your own messaging app then. I bet you would then start complaining that aws holds your servers hostage when you dont pay your bill.

Cannot be done with current VR. The resolution is too low to read text. A monitor in VR the same distance away and size of a real monitor is unreadable. One day though

Not true

Yes! I love clojure! Way less boilerplate required than an oop language. Fun to write too. My go to language for all my new projects.
-
Sorry to have to break this to you but they would get it back plus more on insurance
-
Your fault you lost your projects because of no version control
-
So many posts about losing code. Does anybody use version control? There is no excuse for losing code. Even if your version control host loses your code you would still have a local backup on your computer.

Sound like a windows problem

@dontbeevil windows vs mac 😂😂😂
