@IntrusionCM butt hurt?
-
@codecrow the tattoo or the code? 😂
-
It’s amazing that people are trying to code review a fu**ing tattoo 😂
-
@AleCx04 I just don’t like it. Rambling is not my nature. Plus I get too technical and people get bored. Maybe these are the things that I have to practice and fix. But goddamn. I hate it.
-
@Fast-Nop this needs a medal 😁😁
-
I work with Azure day to day basis. Azure products are well thought out. Configuration is relatively straightforward and the documentation is also good.
-
Personally I like VS 19 better. I never liked VS Code. I know people will hate me. I’m a C# dev and I don’t usually use VSCode. I like the feel of VS 19. Have been using VS for the last 11 years.
-
@SortOfTested can you give me an example? A simple one maybe?
-
What I do is GivenClassName.ItThrowsWhenAIsNull();
-
Its never too late to start. I wish you all the luck in the universe.

Indian accent is very hard to understand. If I listen to an Indian speaker doing a talk my head would explode after 15 mins.
-
@spongessuck Its the constructor I think. But that doesn’t make this any better
-
@hack throw is the correct way. Throw ex is wrong
-
@dastackman I’m mostly doing backend development. Maybe that’s why its hard for me
-
CSS is hard man. I don’t know what you have been doing to say CSS is easy.
-
@dontbeevil I know. But the decision is slightly above my pay grade
-
Our company only uses Teams for conf calls. Chat is still Slack.
-
@rutee07 I have put it into my goals. So my manager can see it. We don't have anyone to talk to. Its just one on ones with the manager. I'm hoping to talk to her in yearly evaluation. Im frustrated
-
@rutee07 about 7 months now.
-
@rutee07 I work hard. Harder than seniors. I'm pretty much the decision maker. I mentor seniors. I do my work right and I work extra as well. But not getting this damn promotion
-
@nARs yep. That's correct
-
I went through a tough interview for the job I'm in right now. After the phone screen they invited me to an onsite meeting and 8 people interviewed me including VP of engineering, director or engineering, senior director of product testing and some other development managers, leads and HR. There was a question paper that I had to answer. It took 5-6 hours. They asked me all kinds of questions. Fundamentals, .net core, javascript, sql server, react, docker and Azure. I went home after the interview and had a nap. Woke up to a call from the recruiter saying they wanted to offer me a position. After negotiations, I accepted it. Now I'm working there. 😊
-
@matste ya we will have to give him tough code reviews.
-
@magh81 you just have to eat it up. Its normal to have impostor syndrome. There is no cure. You have to overcome it by yourself. There are a lot of videos on YouTube about this. I hope this helps. Good luck to you.
-
@Devnergy sure. 😁
-
@rutee07 Management has their eye on him. I think he is on thin ice now.
-
@jjimenez they get hired somehow
-
After 10 years, everyone is better than me. I'm useless. This is called Imposter syndrome and its real.
-
@kzisme well, I'm learning Docker and Kubernetes. We are moving to Azure and I wanted to be up to date. Plus its a good tool for your belt.
-
@bittersweet oh really. Thanks for letting me know. Didn't know they existed.
