I have always had the fantasy to build a function in my developments that upon start would check if my user still is enabled in the Active Directory, and if not then shut down the application. Never done it... yet.

I sometimes work with my company's so called "cms" tool. It's been patched up with new functionality along the way but was actually not even a cms tool from the start several years ago.

Nowadays you need to use Firefox or Chrome to change some content and IE for other stuff. So it's a lot of time and frustration spent on going back and forth between different browsers even for the simplest things. And I mean.. Hello... IE?!

Any of you have similar experiences? Please share and let me know that I'm not alone! 😢😅

You know that feeling when a non-techie decision maker understands you and makes the right calls? Nah, me neither.

One of the bigger and more important IT projects this fall. Technical solution proposal needs to be ready by Thursday morning but is far from complete. Solution? The responsible person for this went on a two day mindfulness training. Apparently totally oblivious to the term "sense of urgency". Must be a citizen of procrastiNATION.

This picture represents a whole lot of things for me in software development when it comes to bad design or security... You add a new feature along the way and it seems to work well - but basically you f-ed everything up.

Anyone else psyched about the glorius future of virtual reality?! 😂
