@Pyjong if there's one thing I've learnt about this field. It's all effort and work. Thanks for the advice. Hopefully I get there.

@Pyjong maybe I phrased it in a confusing manner. I can implement things sure, I can write code and make things work and parrot out things based on similar code. But my knowledge of how things work and a depth of understanding of principles is lacking. And I don't know where to start with that.

@gronostaj there's an awful lot of honest mistakes everywhere, I suppose it's just a shame to see someone who went through the same education I did seems to have not picked up basic concepts. Everyone makes mistakes but the frequency is concerning.

@gronostaj interesting. Stepping into industry from University where "Comment everything" was the norm I just find it strange. Doesn't make it the easiest to wrap my head around as an intern but I guess I just gotta get good.

@gitpush it's about a week old. Only just started my internship and they gave me all new stuff. It's also getting replaced for a UK layout one soon.

@erandria I think he might have been, I concede that I probably could have done more to try and get them to do more. Except it wasn't a case of me not letting other people do work because "they're not as good as me" but instead a case of "they're lazy" and "It's a more effort to push them to do work than it is to just do more myself"
