@inaba well that's dumb.
-
This is most definitely a float issue. I think your code is treating the float as a double, therefore giving you a double precision result
-
Hello there, the angel from my nightmare
-
Closing curly braces also can trip you up in Java/C#. Putting just one extra one can really throw off the compiler.
-
Y'all are forgetting the best recursive acronym.
LAME - LAME Ain't an MP3 Encoder -
C++ is lit. You'll come around sometime soon

[You are carrying too much to be able to run]

@ohemelaar Jesus are y'all able to download the internet in an hour with those speeds?

Welcome to Linux. I was in a similar boat with my laptop - bought it about 3 years ago and it became increasingly slow as Win 10 updates came about, and became increasingly unreliable. Switched to Linux, and it's been an absolute pleasure.
-
@Puddinglord I agree the Mac Mini upgrade is a huge win and a much needed update to the model. Honestly, I might get one as well.

I found some good material by looking up PDFs for books regarding C#. In particular, you can find a free PDF of Jon Galloway's ASP.NET MVC 5 Professional (Wrox published) somewhere on a Google search, and it's very helpful. Just take a gander for free PDFs, I've seen a couple floating around

@sergiolarosa89 Elementary does have a beautiful as hell UI. Their recent update is great.
-
@Linux username checks out
-
@Jakuho I've heard high praises for Arch Linux. What's your draw to it?
-
@apoorvakumar Ubuntu Budgie comes with the Budgie desktop environment versus the standard GNOME/Unity desktop that Ubuntu is packaged with. The UI is focused more on elegance and ease-of-use for new users
-
@JoshBent found the solution was to hold on to the gray App Store logo to the left of the text box for a couple of seconds and let go
-
@DrPitLazarus the top bar is something new with the new iOS and the second bar is Google's features on the Gboard
-
@powerfulparadox this password system was at my old job, so I don't have to use it anymore ;P
-
@powerfulparadox on that comment about rejecting just about anything, half the time the passwords I came up with wouldn't work, so I used the auto password generator on the site and even half of those didn't even work. It was just broken all around
-
@TobyAsE you don't have to talk about me like that
-
sudo -cat get
-
Unless youve already declared an int named index, you're going to get a compiler error on that for block.
-
What's even worse is when VSTS/Azure DevOps fails to load like every 20 minutes
-
Which side of the percentage is going to the soul stone?
-
Good luck and congratulations!
-
@julkali I think it could also pass as Java, right? Or is it the capitalized Main that gave it away?
This is also Marvin the Paranoid Android. I ++ on H2G2 -
All of a sudden, prod breaks and you're trying to find version of your code before your change but you don't know which commit the old code was on.
