@JoshBent Replace all those with 27"ers and you are in my living room XD
I'm really looking into one of those bfgd from nvidia though. Just imagine that... (https://nvidia.com/de-de/geforce/...) -
OnePlus One here. But I think I will upgrade to the Mi Mix 3 as soon as it is below 400€. I hope this will happen somewhere around summer next year.

@burrellramone I could imagine that even if the other person is a perfectionist it might be working as well. At least I think you could discuss intensive refactorings/rewritings and would come to the conclusion that it is not worthwhile. I think the only premise that has to be met is that both are equally motivated to finish the project.

But how if no one in your environment is either willing or capable of good development work
-
But.... It has to be perfect....
-
@bigworld12 the cycle never stops
-
And after quite a while you regain your interest/motivation and start from scratch....

@Electrux they like them indeed
-
@LastDigitOfPi thanks
-
@da9ish wrong but I like the hardware nevertheless 😏
-
@Pavr At least not for now 👍

@VXYZ if they would store them encrypted there would be no possibility to decrypt them to show the first letters.
Except if they store the first few letters separately in plain text which would be also bad or if they use some synchron encryption with a key on their side which would be evil as well. -
Just tell them you earn a fortune (at least as much as you would like to earn). Then they and potential employers have the right expectations when they invite you for an interview.
At least that was what I did last year. I wasn't exactly looking for a job but decided to evaluate my value. I pretended to earn about 10k more than I really was. Guess what. Know I'm working at a new company with 12k more than before.
And that was only one year after my apprenticeship. -
- Autorotation toggled for certain apps
- different profiles for different environments (wifi, volume, notification sounds, background) like home, work, university
- Auto Open Keepass when entering locked apps
- Open certain apps automatically like music for headphones plugged in
- Automatic toggle of wireless Adb when opening android studio on my desktop (Combination of Eventghost, Auto Remote and Tasker)
- Automatic toggle of GPS for certain Apps (Maps, Runtastic)
- Day/Night Mode (Switch off sounds and block calls from all except certain contacts.) Entering night mode also enables a notification that shows the time till the next active alarm if there is one in the next 12 hours
I had a lot of trouble with interfering Profiles until I came up with a (kind of) programming model for tasker which is basically based on variables. Every profile will change the value of one variable. Another profile reacts to the changes and calls the tasks that depend on this Variable.
Have fun 😜 -
When you have more than two monitors you will have exactly the same experience. Currently I work with 4 Monitors and it is amazing. I'm really thinking about buying something like:

(And that is even if I'm not a gamer at all) -
Also if you open the menu the current page should already be highlighted.

It's so sad. But happens for me as well. I finish work and are super motivated but as soon as I enter home all is gone.

Thank you very much @Makenshi and @aronmik

Thanks for your comments. I have to say it's not entirely the fault of my management but also of the client. They change their requirements on a daily basis and managed to communicate the scope of the project when it was already too late. We will manage to deliver but it will be as bad as it could possibly get. And this is the main frustration point if you write bad code and you know it but can't change anything because of the deadline.
