One more thing 90+% of all iPhones are running the latest version of iOS versus only 7% of Android devices. If you want to build an app for Android phones good luck figuring out who to build for?
-
Apple makes the best hardware and probably software also period - end of story. Their products are high quality and just work for months without need to restart. I've updated my phone and McBook over 20 times over the years and it never ever fails. Xcode is a joy to work with - VS takes forever just to load although I like VS code.

How about live a normal life, eat healthy and workout. You will have tonnes more energy and focus and you can get a lot of work done.

@RTRMS who is the non-dev?
-
@gitpush Swift has been around for six years? I thought it was introduced wwdc 2014
-
Yeah - I was taken aback - Android has CoreData as well? I didn't think so. I am not an Android developer so was surprised at the requirements.
-
I have used DexExpress on a number of projects. Their Reporting Server is awesome.
-
@netroxen actually my Indian accent is superb - I will bring down the house the next time Windows Technical Support Department calls
-
@XiovV no YouTube channel for me
-
@jschmold the number looked very similar to our data center ops Dept so I picked it up. Usually I don't.

Sometimes you got to have multiple windows open to resolve an issue quickly and being able to look at all of the screens at the same really helps. Sometimes when learning something online I watch on one screen and practice on another.
-
Nothing wrong with the question. The interviewer might have had a follow-up question that was technical in nature and related to the tool.
-
@filthyranter usually that is the case but not this mouse on this laptop on this version of Windows - and if you know anything about computers or software it is never ever ever 100%
-
@Christine you're either a complete genius and I am not being sarcastic here, or your solution makes no sense and is completely wrong.
I don't understand it. -
I always do my best to comment my work. However, this makes a lot of sense sense.

Who accidentally drops a bunch of production databases. You should never ever use the drop command anywhere near a production database.
-
Sure Bro. I hope orange is your favorite color. 😜
-
I work in a place where you could leave that kind of money on your desk and come back to find it the next day.
-
I use Google Drive, iCloud and OneDrive for different things. Altogether I have 600 gig and the cost is less than $10 a month.
For a professional working in the US, it's practically free and hosted at companies that take security very seriously - one lunch can cost more these days. -
Definitely a keeper
-
That'll be f****** awesome! Lol
-
App is a modernization of the word application. Think of it like Coca-Cola and Coke and get a life already!
Fucking first world !(!problem)
destroy(problem); -
Dumbass - never pass up a hookup with a hot girl for any reason. You have decades ahead of you to write and debug code
-
I have a one year old hp spectre from work running Windows 7 pro and a personal 2012 MacBook Pro - the Mac is a far better piece of equipment and OS. I don't remember the last time I restarted it - it is that good. I don't care about animation, spinners etc..all I care about is reliability. And it takes getting used to but it's not unlike any OS or software. And Xcode is a great ide.
-
And you dropped out of the class? Seriously?
-
@f03n1x yeah I faced NSInteger - had like 20 warnings about that.
The best thing was myvar === something- notice the 3 equal sings
I had one of those in a while loop and Xcode kept saying I need a condition bitch - took me a good hour or two to figure out it was the extra = sign -
3 billion (pissed off) devices run Java.

Because there is no point in reinveting the wheel. Do you really understand how js console.log works ? Probably not.

Your new guy pretending to know the owner to get leverage over the group is very common in developing countries. He is arrogant and a liar and should not be on your team.
Respect should be a two way street, the other type is fear. Encourage your team to respect one another but to also feel free to be themselves because that is the only to get them to produce the best work they can. So in my opinion, by you pretending not to be the boss was not the best strategy. The new guy should be encouraged to say "boss excel is not the best option and this is why..." -
