anyone else just wake up one day and just isn't in the mood to do any work and feels like they are making no progress.

yea, basically me learning right now.

Just taking the temperature - how many people would be interested in a devRant podcast? We'd probably start with it being every other week.

It would feature things like inside devRant updates, guest interviews, rant readings, and anything else fun we could think of.

Any thoughts?

I find it hard to trust code school's courses when they use green as the color for error.

You know you're backend when it took you 30 minutes to program the inner workings of the platform... and 4 days to make it look pretty.

That feeling everytime you realize that you could have built something better with less code and repetition after completing a project.

When stackoverflow.com doesn't have your answer and you wish there was a nullreference.com

When all you want to do is to code on your side projects but the family has other plans..

decided to spice up the error message for lost network connectivity...

Today I spent 3 hours, trying to figure out why the website didn't work. Turns out Javascript was disabled in the browser. :(

Whenever you figure out an incredibly simple solution to make your code work after being frustrated by it for hours on end.

About the acquisition........

The other day I got a call from Windows Support about my computer being infected with a virus. I only have a Mac but knowing this was a scam call I played along for 15-20 minutes. Then I finally told the person calling that I don't have any computer running Windows and he got quite angry and wondering "why are you wasting my time?". Told him it was to prevent him from calling and scamming other people. He yelled "fuck off" and hung up. Made my day :)

How do you handle these phone calls?
