After 2 days of debugging why, oh why, GridView isn't displaying the content generated via function, I came to realize I forgot to type a "return" so the widget is actually returned.
Rookie mistake, merely a rookie mistake...

If you're trying to run the fucking app (just to check if compiler doesn't show any errors), please, for the LOVE OF GOD, do check if the app is still installed on the fucking "Guest" user on the phone. Don't spend 2 days trying to figure out why the F doesn't it compile.

After past few weeks of procrastination, finally began finishing my mobile app for my finals.

Not gonna lie, I've spent 2 weeks researching Flutter, and it seems it has at least 90% of stuff I need (I like dart, and I do not like java).

Now after I wrote a tiny bit of code, I noticed there's still stuff I do not understand, thus more research is needed. All of that for ~20 lines of code, then more research, then 2 lines of code, research, start everything over because I fucked up, again, and agian, again.......

Now that I've gotten that out, time to cook some appealing UI.

A new junior developer diet: treat y'o self with a candy of choice every time you finish a project that you've been working at during your "free" time. Guaranteed fat loss. Coz' you won't be eating any. And you're lazy.

Lately, I've been working in a web security company (mainly as a Support guy).
Going through tickets, I've found one golden gem, which helped me realising how dum customers are.

Since he's our customer, we try to keep stuff up-and-running at all times. If something goes bad, we fix it, and we need their passwords for stuff.
After the customer (somehow) got hacked again, he changed the password in panic.
Note the initial password was really, really good.
He emailed us the new password for "just in case".

The password is "hard-to-guess".

What. The. Actuall. Fuck.

What's next?
Setting the password "12345", activating 2-step-authentication and sending his phone in, along with his finger so we can unlock it with touch id?

I've gotta question for dem ranters.
Since I'm using a toaster as a PC, and from time to time I do play Overwatch, playing without music (or doing anything in silence) is shit.
Running Google Chrome is not an option (it tends to hog my toaster so the game runs like, well, whatever is your defiinition of slow.
Is there something that can run Google Play Music in the background (and please, anything but the PlayMusic desktop player, that is ever worse, it makes the whole OS slow)?
Like, some lightweight browser?
It's bugging me for a year, and I can't find a solution. Maybe someone has a better idea of how to make this possible.

Oh, and yeah, it overheated, burned the mbo, power suply, and cpu cooler stopped spinning.
It's like Satan threw a curse on a pc, and took a piss on it.
The best part? He's mad because I "never help him nor have time when he needs something to be fixed".
He can fix the PC in a pc shop that is across the street.

So, for a few months, as my finals are comming near, I was wondering is it a good idea to re-format my SSD and put Ubuntu on my laptop.
Reason? So I can't play games on my laptop and focus more on coding.
Downloaded Ubuntu, format, install, I was happy.
Soon as it installed, I downloaded all the sht I need (slack, discord, VSCode, nodejs, pixie dust and unicorns...), and did a 10 minute setup so the OS feels "nice".
After few hours of "trying" to work, I noticed it runs rather slow (vscode keeps freezing, app I'm developing stutters in chrome...), so maybe Ubuntu is being a douche to my laptop.
Downloaded xubuntu, did mostly the same (less work has to be done since xubuntu feels nicer than ubuntu (thanks xfce (mouse <3)), and started doing the same.
I realised that I can't use any of my Logitech stuff (mouse, headset (and by "can't use, I mean I can't use the Logiteh gaming software to set the DPI, mouse speed, buttons, nor set up the headset, so they sound like jack shit)).
Frustrated, I went to fix all the stuff manualy, with no success.
Also, the OS froze 3 times completely.
Luckly, I made a whole Windows 10 backup so I've spent a few hours more just waiting for it to restore.
Oh, did I mention I can't tether my Android device internet via usb on ubuntu?
Do I have so much to learn or this is how my life is going to look like when I start working as a developer?
