Funny stuff, because of this I developed "helper" libraries and parts of different systems for the last 2 years.
Jokes on you, I CAN develop solution within 2 hours. But oh boy people are getting mad when I tell them that tasks within 2 hours require additional payment for all of my beloved parts. Because those parts are my stuff and I'm not using them for free.
See this as "Well yeah but we need this service, it requires one time payment of $$$ so...."
Anyway, they choose longer - cheaper solution.
Good for me. -
Unfortunately, if it's not impossible (e.g.: style system alert popup or style native selects in mobile devices (it's impossible, they are defined by OS itself, not the page), I have one simple phrase:
It's your job.
If you picked up difficult framework/solution to implement, it's your problem.
If you are given task and it's possible to implement it: it's your job.
Hell, if for task implementation you need to write plain JS or use jQuery within Angular/React - it's ok as long as it does the job done.
Anyway, in the future you can talk with designer and tell him/her what is really possible/not possible in the web world, if there is such problem with him/her not knowing basic webpage rules.
Also, in the future you may want to refuse to do such tasks, if it's within your jurisdiction to decline them. -
The best price - value - Amazfit Bip.
Battery life can be up to 1 month.
Notifications with text. Ability to tap "ignore" for call. History of notifications.
Heartrate.
Sleep analysis via apps.
Smart alarm.
Did I mention it costs 65$? -
@N0-Flux-Given I’d say it’s erm... Positive effect of negative environment?

I can never only have code at work. I can’t explain it. I HAVE to work at my own stuff at home. Feels like sucking blood for vampires to keep you alive.
If I don’t code my stuff I go to depro and miserable state.
I like it, it’s interesting and fun.
I prioritize often my personal projects over any kind of work overtime, because I am the master and chooser in my own time, and for gods sake I have all the time I need to develop sane, well tested and no-legacy solutions in my spare time.
I have personal life, actually, not a hermit or something. It’s just my hobbies, and coding is in the center of them - they are part of my life. -
I think you imagining things. Where would you keep your phone then? Between ass cheeks?

VIM is the shit. But I'm using different idea and editors for months so I can use and get familiar with all of them. VIM for Crystal and some onthego editing via Android terminal, vscode for crystal, typescript, phpstorm for PHP and sublime when I want just to open text files.
Also guys, why tabs? I thought tabs are obsolete for about 5 or so years -
Are you... Are you Java Bieber?

@anup-dhabarde one of the best, I must say.
-
@KnightsOfCode I mean like you're doing tasks and boom +feature in the service or task done and you got new avatar, something. Like achievements. Or like doing tasks so tree would grow larger etc (saw this in anti procrastination app)

Wow, changing font when coding? I really, REALLY did not think of it for all 5 years of my career. It's not sarcasm. I'm shocked. I changed colors, themes but font... Hm🤔🤔🤔

@Grundeir doubling the question

@jonas-koeritz somehow it's not that hard and painy as it might look like.
