What if there were a way to secure convenient parking spots right from an app? Think of it as a solution for those longer trips when public transport isn’t ideal. This service could help connect people looking for parking with owners of private spaces, allowing them to rent by the hour. It’s a win-win: travelers get hassle-free parking, and property owners make some extra income.

@theabbie wow thats crazy, @dfox, please make more of these.
-
wondering how they would use git blame?
-
@ScriptCoded change that in the code itself,
everything can be customised in ./routes/api.js -
Who the hell rejects in HR, and that too based on that type of question.
If someone has invested his time sitting and clearing the interviews then obviously he is willing to take up the job. -
@bagfox hmm , can't edit it now
-
@r20408e122449d
in a game trainer when you change any value to infinite, this is how it looks in the game, so that's why those 9s are threre. -
Alright, I am not sure how many people are aware of game trainers here, but game trainers are used to generating infinite money, weapons,bullet etc through a script. And everything looks as 9999... in the videogame

@F1973
Just disable your adblocker you might see one or two ads on the right side.
What I meant by my rant is that they do have ads, but we dont seem to see them cause we all have adblockers -
@root yes, I got it from StickerMule itself :p
-
Many pretend that they 'love' programming.
-
I need that wallpaper!!
Please share the link for it -
Good Luck!
Things get crazier once you reach the technical round. -
I would love to give that elbow punch to all the people who took my tech interview and were not friendly at all :)
-
I would say keep trying for the job, successful start-ups take years to build. And you can always start your own venture after getting a job with the advantage of having better connections and exposure.
Btw are you still in college or you left some job to start off somewhere else? -
Freshers are hired so that they can be moulded into a specific domain.
Solving these types of questions probably tells about their smartness and how well they can think and program at the same time. -
@zemaitis I guess you have had bad luck with your past recruits so yeah you rightly said you are biased.
Coming to my cv I am still in my final year of engineering, and most of the hackathons I went to I worked in a team and built prototypes that would solve a real world problem for that company.
Apart from that I mostly spend time solving coding problems that requires a good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithm so I don't really think I am the guy who memorises stuff, in fact I am anti of that.
I did not ask for a job that was just a fun comment so no one is trying hard here :p
Still I wish you all the best, your rant actually makes sense and I hope you get a good recruit this time. -
@zemaitis I won't disappoint you, that's why
-
Hire me :p
-
I really wished I knew how interview happens when I was in my sophomore, I spent so much time learning development-related stuff which is not really relevant now given that initial rounds require you to clear the coding challenges that are mostly related to dynamic programming and greedy approaches😪

devRant should be open source

make a game that has physics in it. like gravity and stuff
-
If this post gets 50 ++ I will delete it for sure XD.
I am surprised how it managed to get 8 so far :"D -
I guess I should have added a tag of lame joke as well, some people take these "jokes" seriously and I just dont know why..
come on guys! these jokes are not meant to make you laugh...
but to laugh at "how lame these jokes" are.. -
@kamen This joke is still incomplete. I couldnt find a better ending
-
@Hazarth Thats the good thing about this joke, its so lame that you laugh at how lame it is..
-
@AlgoRythm because both are different
-
@Kimmax Why is it False in the second case and not in the first
-
@Root and even the bigger question is,
"Why is there something instead of nothing at all ?"
The existence itself is such a highly improbable event that I sometimes go crazy about it. -
@nahi3an You can try codewars, I have tried all the platforms but nothing beats it.
