Well, I’m not sure about MNCs here, like TCS, Wipro, etc….. but in small and mid size it happens, because until or unless you are really skilled about what you do and you have a badass talent in bargaining about salary increment…… than you need to switch job every ~2 years to get some real increment. If the company can keep a employee longer, then they will give a few percent increment every year and it’s a benefit for the corp, manager and HR,because if that guy leaves and the HR need to hire some one (not fresher) then they need to pay substantially more than his current salary to get him on board, and if he’s switching from any MNC or big name corps the “rate” goes even higher…….. every manager, HR, and majority of employees know that but as “loyalty “ is really sentimental thing in India so the practice goes on….. but SOHO and start-up are really good place to work… because usually they treat employees far better….

I'm gonna share one of my pathetic of mine ...... I've started coding in 2003 I was in class three that time ....
In 2006 our school included 'computer' as a subject ... I couldn't attend school for 1st two months because of an accident ...... the day I came to school in 2006 (1st attended day of my class six) I've seen all my classmates are scared - why ? The computer class is in that day - till then nothing was clear
At class I've realized the fact : computer class means the fucker (I mean teacher) will write all the code (gw-basic) in blackboard to copy into copy.. next day students have to run that practically without copy.. he never thought why & what students are doing ?? One day he announced storing wired words in sequences perfectly is the key to success as career in computer

Most of My CSE friends are dumb as fuck, the can't even differentiate between .= and ==
Whatever others are incredibly smart coders & of course with the ability to make stupid things sometimes, But if you count those are really minor in number
