Finally continuing on my thesis writing it in MS Word. Every time I misspell something I go back and try to use "Ctrl+." to get correct suggestions... I miss Visual Studio...

The most excited I was about my code was when I shrunk a bunch of easy if-else statements to a couple of lines using ternary operator. It wasn't groud breaking but it was the first time I felt like a programmer writing nice code.

Maybe I should get a keychain rubber duck or something... I'm programming at work, at school, at dorm, at home. Might be good to have a portable solution.3

Hey I am actually proud of myself today :) I managed to pretty much do my task at work and I got a lot of school work done. Pretty nice day. Not every day is full of rants and anger people. A lot of times it's good we do what we love.

Some of my colleagues have a joint birthday party, I'm here with them drinking beer. A friend here knows that actually today is my birthday. No one else knows and I hate boasting about myself and bringing attention to myself. I'm fucking sad today... Should have gone home to my family. If you have a beer at hand, have one on me!9

More of a general uni rant but I'm currently at a lecture and I feel like I'm back at high school... All the questions like can't you just go on with the subject and if we don't get something we will ask...

Damn I left work on Friday afternoon with an unsolved problem. I actually solved it on my way home but forgot to make a note so this is now the only thing I can think of. What a beautiful weekend.

Oh boy I haven't been programming the whole week so far, just googling and observing my boss to know what's going on. I hate days like these. The life of an intern.

Reading through these horror coworker stories and getting anxious what my colleagues would say about me actually. I only started working part time 6 months ago and I definitely have a lot of moments when my questions are plain dumb. The recurring theme I see in these rants is the stubbornness to learn so to everyone reading these stories and getting self conscious stick to it :) having questions and facing problems the only way to learn something and get better. Thanks for the stories everyone.

The feeling of finally getting an SSD, time to nuke the current windows install and start from scratch. The last year was hell for my laptop at installing and uninstalling various programs.2
