Feeling ashamed for him

@jiraTicket i agree generally, only that in this case it is plain python unittest, it's already there :)

Spirits up, pull through, sleep as much as you can once you're out. Sometimes the world is a bitch.

I hope you can join efforts with QA for a plan, bosses often only understand numbers and risks, lol -
I struggled a lot with maths studies, especially while writing master thesis. After all, I appreciate today very much that I fought through it. (I might have preferred to become an athlete or physiotherapist but that's another thing haha)
I don't know your case. My friend at university converted almost everything from maths into coding. Not sure if you maybe can find time to apply subjects to programming.
Regarding not following classes, professors unfortunately weren't usually good "teachers" in my career. I found one good tutor, and talked a lot about studies with others. This can help a lot. Also, sometimes it's useful to research topics on your own. While they sometimes don't exactly match the subject they keep you interested and can help to connect the dots.
Not sure this helps? -
In more complicated situations, if the other is minimally open, you can make informed questions, trying to understand the others thought process. This often results in a better understanding on both sides. People appreciate when they feel listened to and that somebody cares.

@Codex404 I had that environment in Germany too. I love it

Went through something similar. I concentrated on my health and wellbeing and let job become middle priority.
Fast forward, I enjoy living, then got a new job that I'm actually interested in.
I practice meditation. -
Ubuntu, fedora, RHEL.
Always has worked out of the box, delivers what's necessary, job -
For me there are two essential paths: a) follow your passion and investigate, b) follow a well made tutorial on something you're told is useful

Depends on your goals. I love vim for quick tasks, reviews, but use graphical IDE for more complicated stuff :)

It's okay to miss. You can quanitify misses and smell project risk. The data should be used to solve issues for devs. You have a variance of .2 whenever working at system A?
1. Data can give that feed back, help you better estimate.
2. Mgmt and devs can find necessary to set time aside to root cause, maybe decide to spend time on refactoring or abandoning A or substituting.
That said, I hate estimations these days. It's natural. Spirits up :) -
@neriald @arcsector a' isn't derivative here, just another thing similar to a. If da'/dx undefined, a' is never a'(x), a' has nothing to do with x, why on earth should I consider it as suggested by reviewer xD

@Root I use MFA/ my phone to confirm credentials. I switch computer so often that local pwm isn't really an option :(
-
Argument bad, purpose not that bad: when working in night shift for elevator emergency control centre, everybody wanted lights off. How the hell am I supposed not to fall asleep. Also, indirect light makes us aware of the present.
However, stupid argument -
Chrome, nicely synced on mobile. Local applications requiring pw, none or memorized (come on, at my age we used to remember phone numbers of over 30 friends lol)

You're computer guy, could you check, I can't order this on Amazon.
(Wasn't Amazon) -
Talk to HR. Your manager to have at least .5d from home. Best of luck. I hate open space, and high heels

Golang is great fun with a lot of clean code built in, but always depends on your goals of course
