@tosensei True and sincere journalism died ages ago. No matter what your news sources are nowadays, they are basically all just an echo chamber repeating the same sensationalism, framing and reciting the prevalent political ideology.
-
@thebiochemic Yes, that's what I thought aswell. :D But now here I am with no users other than myself. In case you are interested, you can reach the project page via my website link in my profile. Criticism and feedback more than welcome.
-
@Drunkzee Yes, that's a good idea. But quite time consuming aswell.
I think trust is indeed an issue. Especially with the fallout of all the recent crypto scandals and scams (Luna, FTX, ...) still present in the minds of the people.
Other people have trust issues because they think when they grant you access to their crypto account via an (restricted) API key, you will instantly rob them or so. -
@thebiochemic A platform which connects to your favorite crypto exchange(s) via API to use your existing assets (like USDT) to create automated savings plans. You get a history, a chart, an overview, etc.
There are platforms which allow you to create savings plans (buy X amount of Y every week or so at Z o'clock), but they all either want to debit your credit card or bank account.
None allows you to use already existing assets. For instance when you have X USDT or USD or EUR or whatever in your account and want to re-invest it on an automated basis, you could do that with my project. -
No. And no, not really.
I like kids, though. Kids are great and cute. I have no problem when they cry or rage. And I really like to hang around with the kids and babies of my friends. But thats enough for me.
The joy they bring is easily overshadowed by the missery they can and will cause at some point of your and their live. -

@512GB Thought the same. But then I tested it and it does compile and even work.

@Triskelion Mother of God ... D:

Need the music for coding like air to breathe.
Friend is having TV running when working. He says he needs that to concentrate. -
Yea, C is weird and funny at the same time. Reminds me on the "C was a hoax" story:
"We stopped when we got a clean compile on the following syntax:
for(;P("\n"),R-;P("|"))for(e=3DC;e-;P("_"+(*u++/8)%2))P("|"+(*u/4)%2);" -
You need three monitors. ^.^

@J4s0n He wrote e-mails. Then after calling him, he said I should forget about Russian. He just wants a Turkish language option available in the software so he can prepare some stuff already.
-
I have no solution either, but sometimes it helps if you slam the error message into Google.
Maybe this helps?

@kristofersoler Welcome fellow ranter!

Game of Thrones redefined.

But on the other hand: Creating code only you can understand and maintain makes your job safe.
They depend on you and just can't replace you easily without risking a complete rewrite, which will probably cost them more than keep paying you.
So they depend on you and your good will. They need to understand this. Then they will do anything to make you happy and don't make you think about leaving.
You are a God. -
What is "vacation"?
-
Media Markt? :D

Thats more weird than latex midget porn.

Once you got two monitors, you realize you need a third. ;D
-
Depends on what you are trying to protect. If it is a Switzerland gold vault, then most likely not. :D
-
Nah. I mean the joke is sweet. But computers are not smart. They just do what they are told to, even if it is wrong.
-
I also would go for AI and CC. If you see the progress companies like Google , IBM and Tesla made in these fields in the last years, you just wonder whats more to come.
-
Good music. And temperatures below 25°C.
-
You got my Axe.
-
Quite interesting indeed. F12'ing it.
-
@mightyleguan Maybe because of the whitespace.
