@localpost he told me for a week that he is working on a module. I used to enquire daily what is he working on. He used to say I am working on a module. But after 1 week he told me he hasn't started yet.

@IntrusionCM @mabbott94 it's a case where he is sitting on 1st floor and has his own small office. Sits alone and codes. I have paid him 50% advance for a project to be completed by march end. Project is big and I expected it to be completed by realistically may end.

Whatever he has developed has done a superb job, but it has been slow. He works in his own way, no meetings no reply to emails no reply to messages. Go to talk with him and he will not give more than 5 minutes.
Issue is with time efforts i.e. i know if he gives 6 hours on the project, everything will be good but for some unknown reason he works very abruptly. Works for a day then doesn't work for few days then work for a few days then doesn't work for a few days

@mojo2012 i try to confront him but he behaves either shy or super busy or says i have other work. Its so helpless.

Have started for a junior dev to assist him where at least I will be able to get some work done.

@Grumm there are only a definite sets of possibilities in programming. These possibilities once set in the AI, AI can then vode everything and anything. It will be a software creating any kind of software.

Do we have any live examples of the latest and greatest in this field.

Dont use google cloud. They are always down on resources. Yes google cloud doesnt have CPU and RAM in many of their zones. Been struggling from 24th to get the server up. And their support is so so very bad.

What is sad now is that i am waiting for someone to turn their server off and me to turn on mine at the same time.

@Root when it comes to googlecloud its like they want all the customers to move to aws

@zemaitis their support should tell me to upgrade the plan. Anyway upgrading the plan at 100$ per month for issues which google is facing doesnt make sense. There is guarantee that after upgrading the plan they would get the server up and running

@zemaitis i have the snapshot disk image and machine image. Non of them are useful for creating a new instance in another zone

@Fast-Nop i had local backups but my database grew to 15gb and was difficult the manage with new changes

This is sad. AI will definitely be bad i think. Mass surveillance will go haywire because of such developers. We have a responsibility towards society.
