I did this once when I was a junior thanks to my senior giving me admin access to the database. Everyone in IT should have this experience once, but only once.

@anux if you learnt C, there are things called pointer which shows where (address) a variable is stored in memory, hence memory address as explained before. This is done by adding * to the data type of the variable which means that it's a pointer to an int variable, a ** on the data type means that it's a pointer to a pointer; hence the meme.

Same thing happened to me, the dumb thing is, I was always using Navigation yet it still makes a straight line. Makes you wonder about their QC team there.

I think it's norm there, also even if the worst were to happen, you'll get Isekai-ed. So, win win.

@heyheni yeah, it's probably because I'm kinda a responsible guy and always available any time since I'm single and have no social live outside the office, LOL.
Thanks for the link, I'll give it a try, hope it helps getting me into a good manager -
It should be named Jøergen

Happened to me once too. Now I always use reader account especially with UI based SQL client. When I need write, I login, backup, update, then logout immediately. Really traumatizing experience.

Manager: "You're a programmer aren't you, as am I, explain to me how an application broke in production"
Programmer: "It's not possible, sir"
QA: "But the application broke"
Tech Lead: "Our comrade is delusional, send him to the infirmary" -

Almost the most efficient compact keyboards on a laptop for me... Except that power button, f*** that button placement.
-
@aaronma5on I've looked into them, thanks, but it doesn't seems like the stuff I want. I want more of a calendar-like application that people can collaborate filling in to see what happened in the past. Maybe, someone here can use this as an app idea? :D

When you wanna install Windows 10 64bit but you only have licence for 32bit so you install it twice on the machine.

Lol, mine too, it's the Asus Vivobook series. Really bad design, had to turn off the button on Control Panel.

That thing is ancient, it should be in the museum

I always begin my codes with the comment: "Only the Lord and the current me who knows what's going on"

@mvducatti lol, is 16GB enough? If it is, I just need the SSD part.
-
It's a sign, you need a vacation.... And a new laptop and probably an Android phone (Apple cables are fragile AF)
-
I've always prefered VS 2012. Tried the 2017 community edition, heavy AF. Also, can you share me your secrets on how to get Android Studio running well on Windows?
