I'm part of an experiment where we are given virtual machines and an ultrabook. So I can work from home or starbucks. As long as there is a WiFi connection, I can log into the virtual machine and have access to our intranet.

@Linux you don't like them? I like playing with different systems. Honestly all a developer needs is vi and a network connection.

@ElbowDeepInElmo besides that one I have a gateway with Ubuntu on it. an HP with Arch, an Asus with Kali, an HP desktop with Windows 10 and a raspberry pi that I plan to load parrot linux on.
