You are not alone
-
Starting anything in the address bar with ? uses your default search engine to find results. This eliminates the need for a separate search bar, and helps making clear to the browser whether you intend to search or visit.
-
I find your lack of indentation consistency disturbing
-
JK tho, they have a really nice documentation
-
@lotd when everything else fails, rtfm
-
I just finished a month long selection process and I'm waiting for the results. Congrats on your new job!
-
@mzeffect use Drupal?
-
Good luck man.
-
@cpdevelops pocketfives, a forum. The account was not expired, it only asked me to pick a new password.

We used one of these as a demo machine at my old job, I absolutely hated the fn and control key positions, especially when I was working on a different keyboard layout 2 minutes ago. I could not use the bios switch because we shared it whenever we had a client demo.

Do a heavy asian accent and try to see if you can get away with "ninux".
-
But those are 250. Maybe something a bit cheaper?
-
Leaving this here because I would like to try budgie at some point and I have nvidia

@devios1 to be fair to them it was after I successfully logged in that I got this message.

Depends on the place you live. In my country 20k-30k is really enough for excellent life quality. Minimum wage is 7.5k to give you an idea.
-
I actually think it looks better that way. Kind of like a zombie ranter, or someone who has no soul after all his coding years.
-
Absolutely nothing special, same as Facebook and their employees, I guess many of them have accounts and use Facebook normally.
-
I suppose man rm would give you a hint on what to expect without having to spend time to reinstall
-
Since there are people that say HTML it is a programming language, I would choose plain HTML (no JS, no CSS) and just watch the world burn.
-
This would be a really nice website to scroll while drugged, it's so random.
-
Leaving this for later
-
@taylorviktorya thanks for the update, looks like I will have to reinstall as well. Worst part is I'm in the middle of a project so I will have to tolerate it for a few weeks because I have no time to reinstall and set up everything.
-
@taylorviktorya let me know if you get a fix on that one, my machine begins the installation, reboots, says it failed to install the update, and then just goes ahead and re-downloads the update. It's beginning to break me.
-
I too have wasted a few hours trying this. It feels it should be easier.
-
6 to 8 hours before my deadline.
-
So, everything ok?
-
I would like to help you be more reasonable.
Buy 2 monitors. -
See you code and try to understand what part is problematic, isolate that part.
See if it works, if yes try to build the rest of your code around it and see what your problem was.
If not, read code carefully, see if you can further isolate. Repeat.
This will most of time lead you to a very specific problem that is pretty easy to google.
If all else fails brace yourself for toxicity and ask on SO. -
It's awesome how we are perfectly ok with security cameras all over the workplace but we dislike RFID chips.
I guess it's the implant part that bothers people and not the privacy, since a good face recognition software can already track us at the same level.
Personally I'm opposed to both.
