				    Hi guys!
Hopefully going to be heading to a job interview as a Junior Front End Developer over the next few weeks. Primarily a web designer but taught myself to code as well. The job uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Angular. I've heard a few people mention tests companies use in interviews, has anyone had any experience with these? What type of things should I prepare for?13 -

				    Once one of my teachers told me - when giving me and my colleague feedback on a project on Java - that in a certain method we shouldn't be giving as parameters parts of an object, as we're not IKEA or something, when we could be giving the object as a whole. Not the best teacher I've had so far but I still (try to) program by that rule LoL

				    No-contract client stops the project in the middle and wants his complete deposite (25%) back. How to tell this asshole that he has to pay even more??2

				    guard let param = param, otherParam == .someValidValue else { return }
Beautiful one-liner that validates your function's parameters without having to incur in another indentation level. -

				    When a client complains about how he can't see the site you just made for him... Because he is looking at a printout... And their printer is out of toner. *sigh*3

				    And for my birthday my girlfriend told me "your age++"
I don't know who told her that (she knows nothing about programming languages) but that was cute.3 -

				    My son, who is graduating soon with degrees in game programming and economics, found this. Very true.

				    Just a quick poll here to anyone who does a lot of programming, which IDE do you use? Do you prefer almost paper coding with little or no extensions or features or a full blown solution such as Eclipse?21

				    I hate when someone compares two languages depending on which one gives a "Hello world" with less lines of code.6

				    Just finished reading this gem from start to end. It is over 20 years old and it is crazy how it is still up to date and applicable. Great work.
