@corscheid but not everybody wants to pay extra for the quota they'll never use.
-
@Bikonja I don't feed them unless they catch it themselves. The seller told me that it might turn black after digesting the bug. That's when I'll cut it off and more will sprout from the root.
-
@ReverendLovejoy Probably not. They don't like the taste. One finger or two doesn't hurt though.
-
@loopHole opps I just realize it was because my console is opened vertically. Well I guess the console text isn't that responsive after all >_<

*Singlish spotted!

@linuxxx not exactly a docker haa. it's Firefox with a plugin that strip off bookmark text to make it compact. fyi I'm using FT Deepdark for my Firefox theme.

looks like json and xml had an inbred child. #nopenopenope

"Magic. I make magic. I'm going to be the man who turn your iPhone into explosive lemon that burn your house down."
-
@kalippu because executing vim's :wq is much easier than retyping the commit message. I was lazy af I guess. 🙃

I'm pretty sure Bob missed his session with his therapist.

wow pretty awesome setup! but won't that feels warm for the amount of ultraviolets? too much blue lights probably gonna strain your eyes too
-
@darkness Just don't ever mention the Arch variants on the Arch Forum because the purist there will refuse to give any support. Nice documentation, awesome community and just a little pinch of assholes.
-
I'm curious about your choice of DE or just pure CLI?
-
@KnightsOfCode I'm currently using the student license too but I've already set aside hundred bucks to purchase the full IntelliJ license after I graduate. I think a good IDE is worth investing to save myself from all sorts of frustration. Not sure about C/C++, but for language like Java is certainly the best out there IMO.

omg I just learned something cool today. thanks for the post :D
Excuse me while I stalk my fellow classmate on my campus sun machine. -
@l3lackcurtains a simple minimax problem with stricter rules to pass the efficiency test. Expected query time has to be in O(1) after you build the mst.
-
@rayanon understood that the change will make the maintenance easier for the devs. To be fair some distro like Arch ship with ALSA by default and it "just work" out of the box, so I'm not sure how accurate the term minority is..
P/S. The maintainer decides to include alternative build with alsa enabled for version 52.0-2 so I'm happy with it. Can't say for sure if they'll removed it for future release but I guess I can freeze the updates for now :) -
Basically soundtrack without distracting lyrics is fine coder music! TSFH, instrumental, piano, movie or game music. Hell I would even listen to ambient sounds. for a change.

@Firedragonweb I personally think that the cons outweigh the benefits. I prefer my program to be as precise as possible. It's not like Python where indentation is mandatory, so statements like this tend to create silly bugs. It's also kinda annoying to guess when the statement is ending without proper closure.

I kinda envy that C is your proficient language. IMHO it's easier to transit from lower to higher level language. My recent assignment is to write a shell program in C but the amount of ********* is giving me headache. But I still enjoy a lot talking to my computer in C! It's so much fun compare to OOP language!

@magnusi and so I did 😥

@bjorngi me neither😐

OMFG LIGHT THEME #killmepls

OOP is great but there are cases it's counter-intuitive, if not troublesome to implement. for example fetching network requests and transforming streaming data. I'm new to the whole FP scene as well but find it very interesting. I thought these mathematical expressions are for educational purposes only :P
You might want to look at RxJava or RxPython etc. It's used in Retrofit if you're developing API library. -
I took over a WordPress project which the previous developers just hardcoded the css into the theme and make calls to the staging server. Worst thing is they abuse the Visual Composer (Wix like abomination) to create the components. I almost burst into tears when I saw that.
