Lately that's being pretty true. Yesterday I found myself again coding in a mobile editor while in metro... Maybe I should consider move to a baker job
-
I ALWAYS TOLD PEOPLE THAT! NOBODY FUCKING CARE ABOUT WEBCAMS!!! IT'S EASIER AND QUITE MORE EFFECTIVE TO HACK PEOPLE BY OTHER MEANS. WHY ARE WE STILL PUTTING TAPES ON FUCKING CAMERAS????

Everytime I try to use single-line blocks on ruby

Well, I think that the major problems with CS courses is the lack of practical experience. It makes us leave the course knowing how to solve a differential equation, but doesn't teach how to efficiently use MVC. I mean... we don't wan't CS courses to start teaching top-hyped-world-saving technologies but is it too much to teach anything different than old-school Java and C?

- def a_dummy_method
+ def a_method_dummy
git commit -m "hotfix"
That's it -
Shoul've kept that in mind a few months ago. Now, I'm this at PHP. Damn it
-
That kinda happened to me today. Except that I woke up 2h earlier than normal, but ended up messing with my cat for way much time
-
What about moving away from C?
-
I've been using it for quite 11 months now and it's been a great experience. Even though some minor bugs and glitches happen, it's pretty uncommon. The system is somewhat stable and easy-to-use. I don't know why people complain so much about elementary. It's overall a great OS, really funcional, intuitive and help me get things done. I moved from Mac OS and have no plans to get back.

Type-inference made my coffee taste like tea... Oh damn, I hate when parsers decide things for me
-
# it returns a string
def return_a_string -
Man, here in Sao Paulo things are stupidly worse. Sometimes you spend like 3x more time taking a bus than walking the same distance
-
Well... He kinda helped you, because now you know who you should NOT recruit haha
-
Can someone please give this man a thousand dollars?
-
I think someone just wrote a return true as the only line of an authorization function

For DLC ~ 30€
For DLC (Deluxe Edition) = Foreach ~ 60€ -
I can't stop laughing at this, OMFG
-
@Aitkotw yes, my friend, you are. Wizardry takes place every november last friday. It's like Ministry of Magic Annual Convention for Buying Stimulation
-
Kinda this. Wizards are the God Marketshit and the black magicians are the marketing teams, making us buying things we don't actually need
-
The definition of 'oh fuck'
-
This remembers me of that awesome feature only they have... You know, Apple Maps? Such a piece of heaven!!!!
-
I can finally understand what those stupid frameworks docs are saying
We should introduce a new course in CS majors: "programming explained by emoji". It would be a success!!!! -
At the end of a year, I hope you neighbor doesn't get you out of your mind
-
ctrl+X + ctrl+V orientend programming == such a mess

BRASILEIRO DETECTED

Suddenly everything makes sense.
Specially the part about rubysts being so emotional and needing so much attention to their marvelous and awesome skills.
Just follow the conventions, rails will do everything else - they said. -
I know one that does this. And it logs the damn password to console 😑
-
PLEASE TAKE ALL MY MONEY AND JUST GIVE TEN OF EACH
-
I think my macbook and yours can now be good friends

The worst decision I made in my life was work as a fullstack. Just one guy handling the work three guys should do is crazy!
