At least feels better for now !!!!

Working on a mac isnt pleasing because of the visuals. It's the functionality that makes it such a treat! It's little things like 3 finger text select, that massively boosts productivity.

I've tried to replicate this in Kali, but it just wasn't happening.

@inkt Me too, tried to make Ubuntu as pleasant as macOS but bought a MacBook later because it just wasn't as satisfying.

Good stuff. Mac is a hard sell these days. The specs aren't up to snuff. My five year old MacBook pro is pretty much as fast as one youd grab off the shelf.

A Hackintosh is very simple to setup in dual boot with tonymacx86 apps (i used one for a year)

Try KDE. There is gorgeous Mac theme for the Plasma Desktop. Start with Kubuntu 17.10 (LTS is very old).
