Why is it so hard to make friends with other developers?
Nobody understands how hard it is to sit on my ass all day while my wife complains about the lack of attention I give her. Anyone else relate?

but he kept sending me death threats so just wanna keep that shit at arm's length

he was in the same stack as me so I wanted to compete via projects but I guess that didn't work out

I worked with a guy with wife and kids, his conversations were so fucking long.. he complained all the time. I understand complaining about bad guys/clients, bad payment and stupid kids and wife for few minutes a week. I dreaded all his conversations. If i don't talk that much doesn't mean that i'm a good listener and want to listen to negative boring shit for hours.
