I haven't used an ad blocker since 2009ish. I'm here to answer your questions.

    You gave me an idea, I should disable my ad blocker for a while

    Has any site asked you to respect yourself and enable ad blocker?

    @404response idk, I barely notice them and I usually ban myself from visiting web sites which serve disruptive ads. I'm ok with ads as long as they are to the side.

    @Alice no, I don't follow blogs xD

    @LuPaw quite a lot but I rarely see those ads, I don't surf porn that much. And once again I'm quick to dismiss these ads, mentally speaking.

    @dontPanic no haha, those actually make my brain hurt 😅 hate those scam ads

    @JoshBent I don't seem to have a need for it. Ads back in 2008 were a clusterfuck. Now they are much better (speaking about respectable web sites). Also, I don't feel a noticeable drop in load speeds or page responsiveness (once again, talking about respectable web sites)

    @Alice I can smell bullshit from 15 routers away. I just mentally dismiss and ignore them. I rarely remember any ads.

    You are missing out so much ☝️
    Not seeing lots of intrusive ads just mean that 😁

    How to learn JaVascript in 2.3 days!!!

    At least use nocoin. Ads may not bother you but don't let website owners abuse your hardware without your consent

    Have you claimed on your miss sold PPI yet?

    @YourNemesis bleh, can't be arsed to do that. I don't care frankly, I don't visit shady web sites that often

    These days it's not ads that are the problem. It's click bait and Buzzfeed

    Why all banks hate that man ?? Did you find out ?

    @Mayhem93 many normal looking sites use coinminers too until publicly shamed.
  • 2
    @Mayhem93 but on a more serious note, I dont think you really saturated my question yet, do you visit only a set array of websites and thats it? since there is still websites that basically add flashing shit all over the place, just like in the past. Especially downloading things is often near impossible with the thousand of actually real looking download buttons.
