Basic, Amos, C++, Visual Basic. But I didn't really get anything until I started PHP, Javascript and Python.
-
cahva10138yBasic was the first language in the 80's with Commodore Vic-20. Turn on computer, instant editor right there 😀

talabo198ypython on codecademy, to get into programming. Big leap into java (self-taught). Used a year to learn the basics. Now learning even more by making my first project a huge project! :)

Dunky132988yI'm gonna say HTML just so people can rant that it is not a real programming language :-)
But for real, web dev language PHP. First non-web-dev was JAVA -
crisz81918yPHP. The passage from a dynamically typed language to a statically typed one was terrible lol

@Dunky13 HTML, CSS and SQL first got me into js and PHP so it's all linked in my line of work.
-
Dunky132988y@benoliver999 yea, same here. But started my very very first programming with WYSIWYG editor and changed some HTML myself.

yusijs12508yHTML!
I kid, of course - first I learnt was PHP, then javascript. Back when I was 12-13. Didn't start writing more advanced code before I was 22-23 (5 years ago or so). -
yusijs12508y@donkeyScript if you started with learning c++.. Kudos to you my friend. I still cry myself to sleep over c/c++.
You know a library is on the lower end of the spectrum when you need to import a lib to write to the console. :3 -
@yusijs yup, it was a good intro but I quickly started on other languages. It was a programming class in high school.
-
Fist language was simultaneous Basic & COBOL back in '88 in XT-turbo IBM COMPATIBLE 100% floppyDisk 3 1/2" two drives, one for booting DOS 3.30, and the other for COBOL with FashCode.

@yusijs cool is good to hear, I'm teacher now at #TecTijuana for Sys Engineering with Master CS. Keep positive.
