Some people were just never given a chance.

That's too down for me. Also, VERY some. Depends a bit on the type of chance you mean.

if you're waiting for chances you'll forget to live your life

Choices we make, not the chances we take determine our destiny.

But hey, what do i know?

@devJs choices are powerless when your starting square is underwater.

@kiki then you should stop thinking of yourself as a human and start thinking like a fish, duh

@kiki i agree with that, everyone is responsible for himself except children, parents are responsible for their children.

As an adult it can look gloomy to pick the life up if you had a shitty childhood and have a lot of traumas from that time.

What you do with that is your choice. I had decent childhood even there was a war when I was a kid and we had to leave our home. I am sorry that all the people didn't get decent hand of cards in life, but please try to make the best of what you got!

I also had some traumas, worked with proper coaches that helped me process them, I still have some, but in general I feel better about life no matter how it looks from the outside. The most important thing I learned is not what's outside, but how you feel and how you see things from the inside!

    TØP:
Faith is to be awake and to be awake is for us to think
And for us to think is to be alive,
And I will try with every rhyme
To come across like I am dying
To let you know you need to try to think

@devJs thank you, positive mindset helps for sure. yet, mental disorders (that are a part of the hand of cards you get) can break absolutely anyone. toughest people to ever live, who survived literal hell, drink themselves to death/straight up kill themselves battling depression/bipolar/schizophrenia. sometimes there's nothing you can do. some cards mean certain death, just a delayed one.
