Whats up with Rust?

New to devrant so thought I'd post this here instead of googling (to practice devrant.. 😊)

Haven't heard of rust till lately but not sure it's place in coding languages...

This is not how you internet.

Best is to try to google it some but basically its Mozilla’s attempt to design a language to compete with c and c++ while avoiding many of the problems like pointers and memory management.

Also, their compiler gives very good error descriptions of the errors.

It's a really awesome language, and if you want to learn it, that's a great decision.

rust == 80% c++ and 15% haskell ++ other

but I code it like 1/Rust

Its c++ for people who are less than 50 years old
