@CaptainRant mine comes out as depressed grumbling

    I'm not being burned

I don't take in their way of life maybe. not part of the group but exist despite them

um worked for 3 years and then wanted to kill myself for 3 months til I realized I could just quit my job. unemployed for 6 with PTSD, they came back giving me more than double the money and praising me cuz I had wrote all their software half their company still lives off of to this day even tho they can't maintain a dev team but code still churns, and got fired after 3 months because their lead dev was incompetent and powertripping. then got dementia from COVID vaccine and been sick 2 years. brain improved to brain fog last month I think lol

    my depression life

@jestdotty I'm sorry to hear that.

Yes, it is important to not take their way of life. The one annoying thing in certain industries is that you're constantly measured like a rat against your own peers and the industry, as if you have to somehow prove you're worthy of your own job. It's very stressful.

    Powertrippers are the worst.

At least you're on your road to improving.

@CaptainRant im ok with being measured, I think it's dumb but I always effortlessly "win" so it doesn't effect me

problem is being measured understandably makes your coworkers then hostile to you... so it breeds toxic environments I don't wanna be part of. makes me disappointed in people
