same code could have been put into a ppa or install script. the problem here of course is that it was in the Ubuntu store, but that has nothing to do with the actual tech that is a snap package.

@Linux The AUR is one of the best thing in the world, and way safer than just installing things on windows with wizards found on the Internet

Kind of, but the community can check the PKGBUILD and malicious package will most of the time get reported, it's not failproof, but it's safer
