I always wanted to give it a try, combining WYSIWYG with coding sounds good to me..

I'm a web developer and I hate Dreamweaver

    No words...
    Just 💩

Adobe have done very little to dreamweaver since it bought out macromedia, and it wasn’t very good back then either.

If you do anything, and I mean anything besides static HTMLand vanilla css it’s useless.

I started with Dreamweaver a long time ago and it's good to start, however when I'm looking at it now it's too primitive for my taste and I prefer working with frameworks or more "dev-oriented" technologies.

If you want to focus on layouting and design I'd recommend Bootstrap Studio, which is very similar to Dreamweaver if you have no idea how a CSS-framework works and just want to get a first taste.

If you want to dig into development of actual web applications I wouldn't waste too much time with Dreamweaver and dig right into Angular or React, wich are both excellent choices and valuable for jobs in web development.

Have a look and make your own opinion, I hope that was helpful to you 😊

    I honestly wouldn’t bother.

They’re old tools that made sense a long time ago before the age of modern web applications.

Far better you check out the Mozilla developer network site and brush up on html and css basics, then get onto learning some frameworks like bootstrap etc to get a feel for things.

Is this a thing yet? I guess the last time I opened Dreamweaver was like 4 years ago and opened only to draw an image map 😂
