I graduated from a bootcamp this February, moved to London and I was certain someone will hire me in the first two weeks. I have never been this wrong

    What was the bootcamp---topic...duration?

I'm only vaguely aware of how they work, but I've seen them mentioned often enough to be intrigued.

@platypus it's the regular 12 week course. I learned full stack development using Python and Node

That's life, I haven't graduated yet and I've already been told my CV is overqualified. Companies man, you can't live with them nor without.

Moving to London without a job? And probably £15000 in debt for the bootcamp and living expenses during the course. I can't imagine a easier way to bankruptcy.

Look after a 12 week bootcamp you may have a grasp how things work. But for an employer it costs another 12 months of training you before you'll become usefull for them. So London which has the highest cost of living and an abundance of highly qualified specialists was definitely not your smartest move.

have a look at other english cities with small family driven software shops.

    good luck 🙂
