My wet dream is pressing tab when entering a path in cmd.exe and it suggests folders/files relative to the already entered path.
Like bash does it.

So you guys telling me when pressing tab after `cd subfolder/` it suggests you files and folders from subfolder/ instead of ./?

@nitwhiz yep - in fact, it even has a cool feature, each tab press goes through the list of all possible matches (and if I don't type anything it goes through the whole folder)

@nitwhiz yep. It will cycle on multiple matches, auto double quote the path when there is a space; I rarely type out more than the first three letters and then Tab.

@endor @bkwilliams what the hell. Is there some setting? It NEVER does that for me.

@nitwhiz do you run a non English keyboard? Check the registry for the mappings; https://google.com/amp/s/...

@bkwilliams this /f and ctrl+d thing doesnt do it either.^^
Still getting only the directories of my current directory listed.

It's not like i'm really searching a solution to it. I mean its an enter-press more. Not a big deal.:D

    >only the current directory

Ah, to reset the path you have to go back to the drive C:\ or use ..\ to go up one level, if I have to do multiple ..\..\ I just restart at the drive letter.
