As always Google are doing a staggered rollout, android does have a dark mode but the update isn't available to anyone or of the US as far as I'm aware

Really? I am so out of touch with android devices. I have a few tablets to run smart home software on at home but as a daily driver have an iPhone and iPad. I just somehow dumped a significant enough sum of money in apps that I don’t want to switch anymore.

YouTube on iOS is ... okay. It tends to crash for seemingly no reason when loading a mid roll advertisement and you get bombarded with premium ads and banners when using it in Germany.
