Fucking moronic clients like these make me want to drop the project, needless to say I dropped the project immediately. I know it's highly unethical but fuck it.

On top of that I was doing charity work by charging 1/8th of my usual rate and this fucking idiots thinks that he is teaching/spoonfeeding me for his project, moron, I made micro library for that much amount of money.

I once got such client while freelancing, who wanted me to make a Digital Content Download Management System.

when i started developing he started saying things like "i could do this better than you" at every step. So
i left the project where it was and asked him to show me the source code when he has extended my code and turned it into a whole system.

As obvious he couldn't and that project never went online.

Why do such morons exist ?

I had a a real moron once. He was a programmer which makes it even worse. He wanted to run SQL queries in a search field on a public site, because clicking the filters on the ui takes too much time...

If you hadn’t mentioned you were working for a reduced rate I might have been in the clients side. Sometimes people get curious and start looking into how stuff is made and start taking out their asses. There’s plenty of tutorials that assure you will have expertise in days lol. I could see how it could go to your head.

However since he already negotiated a lower rate I have a feeling about this client. He’s one who “already has the hard stuff figured out” and you just “have to do some basic stuff” because he thinks “coming up with the idea and being creative is the hard part” and yea fuck that kind of client.
