Which is better and which has bigger scope in future - CodeIgniter or Laravel or Symphony?

Stick clear of CI.

Symphony and Laraval or the two major ones, I think laraval has the bigger user base though.

@C0D4 can confirm about Laravel's momentum. Plus it is inspired by Rails, thus a lot of ideas are very similar!

Codeigniter is no longer maintained, symfony seems to be catching up with laravel but laravel uses symfony components so doesn't really matter which 😂😂 the real decision is eloquent vs doctrine and I find doctrine is the worst thing I've ever had to work with... EVER!! And I've used zend...

I recently discovered Pop PHP.
Seems pretty cool too!

I like that you can choose which modules/features to include! Makes the codebase much smaller
