After years or Windows, I bought a Mac.
It is a shitty OS.

Resizing windows? Nope
Uninstallign apps easy (some) ? Nope
Show/Hide files easy? Nope
Jump between chrome windows? Nope

You're using it wrong. Trust Apple, they know better what's good for you than you do. That's why you just gave them a lot of money.

You have to understand, that some things just works differently. But everything is possible just like in Windows or linux systems.

Most windows can be resized by hovering over any edge and clicking.

Most apps can be uninstalled by simply removing them from the Applications folder. If you need a more in-depth uninstall, typically removing the corresponding folder in /Library/Application Support will do the trick.

Showing hidden files *does* require a terminal command or third party app, but typically isn’t an everyday requirement unless you like prepending dots to your filenames.

You can bounce between windows within an application with Command + `

Honestly, I’m not a macos fan nor a windows fan, but I guess the problems are that you’re trying to transfer your Windows knowledge to MacOS, which doesn’t work exactly the same. There’s still some bad parts about MacOS

Give it time. It took me about a month to convert a few years ago, now there’s no looking back. Although I do run Windows VM in Parallels, so there is some looking back, and get the best of both to a degree.

The only thing i really like about macOS is the styling :p

I have both. My main complaints about Mac OS is a clunky file explorer (finder) experience and inferior window snapping (OOTB).

Buy magnet(1$) for window snapping and download hyperswitch to get your alt tabbing back

Macos window management sucks, above tools help you forget

@nofckingcluedev get Spectacle for awesome window resizing. And use cmd+` for in app window switching, Cmd+Tab for between app switching. And use Ctrl+Cmd+F for full screen switching.

Fun fact: there’s always complaining about things that work differently on Mac when someone switches from Windows. And never, when someone switches from Mac... Oh, wait... ;)

For resizing windows, theres an App called "Magnet" - it just works like the windows resizing. Costs 1$ i think
