My windows pro licence got automatically downgraded to home when I turned my laptop on today. Turns out it's a known bug since last month. Just when you think they can't get any worse. Bitlocker doesn't work anymore(only supports pro) and here I'm sitting in front my encrypted drives helplessly.

It's only after switching to Linux you realize what all you were missing as a Dev. A package manager, excellent terminal and complete control of your system especially the updates, rock solid depending on the distro and many more. Unless I need to develop for Windows or mac I'm not switching. Long live Linux.

Almost every programming tutorial on youtube is infested with "plese sir pls teach me hw to hck i wnt to be a hckr" and "sir my phone no is xxxx and my email id is xxxx send me the cod plz". I mean even on css tutorial videos? seriously? No other third world country has such boneheads. I just hope each and every retard like this drops dead the moment they write stuff like this.

I had to settle for a tech support job to pay my study loans. But a week later I got my first developer job in a big and reputed firm which pays well. This is almost like a dream come true.

I'm currently a fresher and just got an offer for support reliability engineer( tech support in simpler terms) and it pays 5 times the average in my country with lots of perks. Also it involves no programming. I'm interested in programming, should I settle for a developer profile which pays less or a tech support which pays almost the double?

I'm trying my best to like stackoverflow but it keeps pushing me back. My answer to questions ratio is around 8:2. Had a descent 900 reputation then some psychotic e-stalker comes and downvotes all my questions and answers and I'm only left with 700 reputation now. Why would anyone do this?

My wifi card has been in the bugs section of almost every major Linux distro for the past 4 years since an update. Tried almost every solution i could find. nothing helped. couldn't use it with it's unstable speed and disconnections. So much for open source and GNU/shit and fix it yourself crap. Do you really expect me to learn to write a wifi driver? I'm done with Linux. Installed Windows and everything was fine. open source software may be good but not the best. Much better to use proprietary software than to waste time trying solutions from the seventh page of google search results.

Just got an internship in a big company. Related to web development but they want me to use/maintain legacy jsp, servlet code. Should I take it? There are other departments too but I have been put in this shitty one.
