That... is bad.
It definitely was a good option until several years ago, but I've lost touch w/ it.
People around me are using ClickUp, nowadays.
Fucking hate this one - it's heavy on resources... && slow. -
-
Its pretty bad for people with ADHD actually. The constant pop-ups telling you what new cool slop they added makes it super hard to work. Im hopelessly waiting for a time we go back to pure Shell OS’s
-
@Lensflare now imagine that and 3 toddlers in your brain who constantly want to show you something.
-
@Chewbanacas if only they were toddlers...
it's like boobies (hot male things), rage, food, the most comforting bed possible, and the 300 small problems I still haven't solved, and the 50 things people want from me some of which were around here 3 years ago but I'm still trying to figure out the puzzle, and then the 7 issues that haunt my existence and nobody ever gave me support or understanding for and I'm still obsessed about trying to solve them even tho everything I tried didn't work
toddlers would be so much easier to ignore
and then maybe there's 7 emotional oscillator channels that play weird musical notes, sometimes there's two songs stuck in my head at the same time!
can you just have a basic simple website. here I'll make clown noises for every element on the page that doesn't belong and rainbow confetti will magically manifest itself when I hit enough notes even though I didn't intend for that to happen oh my God. what was the stupid ticket number again. what are words -
@jestdotty well, depends on the person. Then switched to Asana and they do exactly this shit with confetti. Why does it all have to be that way?
-
@Chewbanacas idk they should just email me the pertinent info and cut out the buzzwords

@atheist
My apologies for an incorrect assumption. As kids with ADHD also hate Jira, then who likes it? -
P.S. I'm at the other end of the autistic spectrum, Asberger or, as my gf calls it, "slow ADHD". Can't stand any unnecessary, stupid distractions and bloat. I deeply hate any spellcheckers while typing, autocomplete, popups, "conversation starters", previews on hovering the activity bar, notifications, ring signals, sms signals, any beeping, squeaking, buzzing, whining, screaming, nagging, ticking, irritating noise, visual or acoustic.

Jira is gradually turning from a somewhat serious coworking tool into some sort of bloated social medium for kids with ADHD.
