hiding notifications is a bit tricky because the numbers of unread notifs come from a different endpoint than the actual notifications.

I accounted for the number on the notif bell icon but the green dots on the notif categories/tabs will remain there if you have unread filtered out notifs.

I‘d need to change the notif fetching logic to make this last bit work perfectly.
