So at interviews they ask you to justify your experience by explaining in detail and in-depth what you did. Excuse me, you expect me to remember all the implementation and architectural details of a fully closed-source application I worked on half a year ago?

    Right after leaving my previous job I had this interview lasting some 1h... Obviously, they expected me to compact 10+ years of experience into that tiny time frame.

    I think they wants results oriented answers. Or at least process oriented. I wrote an algorithm that I barely remember how it works 2 years ago. I recently updated it for a different version and had to relearn it. But even now it is vague. I would have to read through the code to describe it properly.
