    I see literally no reason why not to do it. It shows you're a fun guy. Also put the text above it "Please reconsider.".

    Did you ever wrote a motivation letter afterwards? I did once when I got rejected and I ended up with a second interview and they said that everything was great but they wanted to see some Grey hairs. Aka, I was too young / looked too stupid for their business. Now I'm older and I know what they've meant and even by now I doubt if I would be the right one for that job.
