Companies are now more and more forging into AI businesses... what the fuck. As if it wasn't already bad enough.

I think it is because some people still do not see the benefits of AI. And that is totally crazy. In my opinion, we should accept that some people just don`t care. Also, not everyone is computer minded even! So imagine being not very into computers, you do not think it is amazing stuff, you are forced to like a new feature out of it. There are many people these days not even having computer, only a phone.

@whimsical I still fail to see quite often how having "AI" in my product benefits the product. Selling an AI feature is often meaningless imo

AI is still better used as a tool in my opinion.

Bandicam went this way w/ their newest version of the software. "Experience AI-Powered Bandicam 2027". !sure whether this is a good thing. I'll find out soon enough, though.

@D-4got10-01 @D-4got10-01 I remember a manager telling me that software is only a tool and the difference between a good Software Engineer and a bad one is understanding the business need: a bad one would just try to think of tech and throw things at the problem, while a good one first does business analysis, discusses with the stakeholders what they need, discusses with their team the practicality roadmap.. and then discusses it with the client, to finally implement. : )
