Yeah users are not always the best source of ideas though. You need to do a lot of distillation.

Users tend to think of "that one cool feature everyone wants", without thinking of all the rampant bad side effects.

Especially in games, people grossly underestimate the difficulties in balancing between fun and challenge, balancing toxicity and censorship, balancing for players with varying levels of mechanical skill and strategical insights, etc.
