Received a contact for a new job today, 3 months notice if you want to leave, 1 if they make you redundant. Working hours are 9- 5:30, but evenings, weekends, holidays can be requested with no extra pay or time off. Recruiter recommended I sign it within an hour of receiving it, before I had time to read it, despite them taking over 5 days to get it to me. Suddenly my new job is soured.

They needed it signing today, until I needed to discuss a few points, then I haven’t heard since

Sounds like a shit company, and that 3 months / 1 month split would even be invalid in many countries.

Check if that request on hours and overtime is even legal where you live. In France, the only way not to pay overtime is to use a "forfait journalier" type contact, where you are paid by the day and not the hours, but in return you are given freedom on your hours as long as it doesn't impede your ability to work and cooperate with your team.

3 months notice and no overtime pay?
Yea, no. That's a sweat shop with no exit coming up right there.
