External company HR: We are sorry to hear you've decided to turn down our offer. You made a great impression and we thought you'd be a good fit. If you change your mind please let us know.

Me: I too am sorry you didn't tell me you were moving to the other-side of the county in two weeks, making it impossible for me to travel to and from work. I too have feelings about having done all the interviews and this being the end result. Thank you

In all seriousness, if you still wanted the role, you could have pitched to work remotely.

Some companies have so much hardtime finding the good developer that suits their needs so when they find it they cant leave him alone.
I once worked for an indinesian company, for 6000 usd per month. Since im swiss, i asked for not-less-than the minimal salary (for my position) in my country... Plus a brand new macbook pro and a flat !
    They've accepted !
    Dont underestimate ur value
Chose the right techs to be good at and they will run after u
