after 21 years today was the day i let go of my personal homepage.

still don't know whether this is just a depressive short circuit action or at least reducing channels of unfulfilled socialisation.

For clarity, do you mean your actual homepage, or PHP?

    20+ year old domain?
You should have sold it at auction and raked in the $$$

@SortOfTested I see what you did there 👀

    Solid site name.

Personally would cut my left pinky finger off for stux.net

@Stuxnet I know it's lot the same, but buying a 1999 domain wouldn't be the cheapest thing in the world either 😏

    @shoop it's a minimum offer of $200.

As a broke ass college student with only a part time job, sinking $200+ into a domain name is not a good idea.

In the future I will without a doubt go after it though.

@shoop it almost cost me a yearly fee too, but I had to draw the line somewhere.

@C0D4 fuck I forgot to automate my certificate making process.

I know what I'm doing today

@shoop not unless someone buys it.
Like I said, almost cost me 😉

@erroronline1 I feel sorry for your loss and unfulfilled socialisation.

We all thought way back then in 1999 the internet would solve all the world problems... It does, sort of, but way slower and way more subtle then we originally thought.

Don't lose heart though, i'm building my infra just to be able to have my own instance of mastodon.

The individual site may die, but it transforms into a federated decentralized social network.
