Yo, is this devrant or spamspace???

Like, do you even fucking work, mates? Are you a dev? How doesn't a fucking legacy code piss you off on a daily basis? What are all the ways you want to respond to your customer's/PM's abuse? Does your lead dev even know jackshit?

Where did all your quality rants go? Why do you all sound like second graders writing essays for school? Have some passion for your job, and hatred for the incompetence for others!

Now, go produce some quality rants! Funny ones too! Bonus points if it's angry-funny.

    Well, I'm a highschool student, my lead dev would be my teacher, I haven't been forced to write an essay for school yet.

    (Sadly we don't even have homework that involves actual programming at the moment. We gotta draw diagrams that display inheritance and multiplicities and all that garbage. Boring me out of my mind.)
    (I mean, I have written an OpenCV wrapper for face detection in BufferedImages, a discord bot that implements that wrapper, a Microsoft teams "bot", some more cancerous shit and a library and some more garbage. I'm, uh, I gotta get the translator real quick, ah right, I'm under challenged in CS)

    I don't have a boss, I don't have school until September, I live with my mother so I'm doing my own project at my own pace and have little to rant about.
    I can find some irritating clients who think they can get a good website for pocket money, if you like.

    If I managed to get anything done in the last three months, I'd actually have something to rant about.

    I can't fucking believe it, I already found one:
    Single page, mobile friendly, modern design, 1 month, 90€. They have already decided on a hosting provider, which has 90% uptime and only serves static files.
    They also want to port ~7k letters of text from an existing, 8 page WordPress site.
    On a single, mobile friendly page.

    I left hell, so I cooled off considerably.
    I worked at a great place, and had basically nothing to complain about.
    Then I left and I'm in purgatory; it's mostly just really boring. Very little to rant about.

    However, last week I found a draft of a rant from hell that I never posted. Should I?

    Maybe that community is too good here: like, I’m pissed off, people tell me to leave, I leave, I’m good now, nothing to rant about.
