2 - I just like how birds break 4th wall of icon, also it's good to have *only* thick elements in logo. Be it contour or mask, nevermind. In the end of the day, marketing team would like to see uniform stamp that scales well, from large to very small.

Perhaps, you could go and make birds thicker on 3rd one. But please, for the love of nation, don't make them touch the border or otherwise make them intersect it with complete wing thickness. Dunno if it makes sense xD

3 or 5 is my favorites, looks less like an app icon

@vintprox annoyingly, the worst part about 2 is OpenOffice, and this logo will be going on an open source project...

@matt-jd ah, no. I can come up with an Idea but I don't know enough about logo design to make it perfect (yet). Also, had to put the project itself on hold so I didn't burn out from it.
