!rant

So... what music/media/sound do you listen to while programming?

I switch between video game OSTs (Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, KH2), movie scores (The Social Network, Pride and Prejudice, and misc. stations), classical piano music, and hip hop. Sometimes I throw on Netflix on a series or movie I've already seen countless times.

    Depends how badly I need to drown out the rest of the people in my office... but ATM, 99% of the time I'm listening to Hamilton.

    The social Network has a great score I do sometimes listen to it. Other than that, when I don't want to hear anything around me it's some progressive trance or some edm. Usually I just play the Spotify recommendations.

    So, fairly honestly I'm pretty close minded when it comes to music taste. I can concentrate incredibly well while listening to music by dj Cyber but also to artists like Rebellion, Luminite, Radical Redemption and so on (hardstyle, raw hardstyle).

    If I'm at work with headphones I prefer minimal electronic artists like Gaiser but if there's a good stereo RJD2's instrumentals are a great choice 👍

    I listen to the scores by Adam Young. But most of the time I like it silent.
